The Library brings together specialised titles linked to
the Museum’s collection and Basque culture, all geared
towards research and professional consultation.
The Library’s mission is to support the documentation, research, and management of the Museum’s collection, offering specialised resources to both the institution’s staff and professionals in broader study and research fields.
Our bibliographic collection consists mainly of books and periodicals related to the Museum’s thematic areas, among which are held works of special relevance for Basque culture knowledge and dissemination.
The bibliographic collection is constantly growing through acquisitions, donations, and a programme in which publications are exchanged with other Museums, research centres and cultural institutions — thus favouring the updating and enrichment of our own collection.
